March 03_01-06

A relatively uneventful week astrologically. March astroweather starts off with the moon passing through intense Scorpio. The one standout event this week is Mars entering Gemini on the 3rd. Mars represents your ambition, your drive, your more aggressive side. Where Mars falls in your chart shows the areas (house) that drive you to do what you do. Mars in (quick-minded) Gemini lends itself to a period where ideas will come quickly, acting on your thoughts will become important.

Mars in Gemini can also be a time where debate and disagreement come more easily to conversations. The week ends with a minor, semi-square between loving venus (Persephone) and dour Pluto (Hades). Semi-squares aspects in astrology represent both an opportunity as well as disagreement with the energy between the two planets. In this case, Venus, values, beauty, love, and sensuality can be overwhelmed by power-hungry Pluto. The opportunity is to become aware of what is feeling a little controlling in your life when this aspect happens and work towards releasing it.
